First ever Sex Pistols press shots by Peter Christopherson, Denmark St. 1976. Unused as McLaren thought they made the band "look like rent boys" (photos taken at Punk London exhibition private view 12/05/16)
Lydon portrait also in the superb Peter Christopherson Photography book published by Timeless Editions. Buy it here: www.timeless-shop.com/prod/peter-christopherson-photography-regular-edition-2281,73.html

So pleased I bought a copy of the wonderful (not to mention amazing value given the size, contents and presentation) Peter Christopherson Photography book at the weekend. Particularly struck by his captivating study of the Gorbals, Glasgow in 1977-78. Some great early Sex Pistols pics I hadn't ever seen before too.
